This mature whitetail buck was harvested in west Texas. Tanned the old school way with brain matter and wood smoke. Smoked with cottonwood and cedar.
Very thick hide. Great hide for cutting thick water drum rounds. Thick but still soft enough for crafting — passes a size ten beading needle test easily. Really nice one.
