This mule deer doe was harvested in west Texas. The hide is large but relatively thin for the size. Suitable for cutting a few water drum rounds around the rump area but likely too thin to get more than two or three rounds. Very soft. Passes the size ten beading needle test.
Tanned the old way with brain matter and wood smoke. Smoked with Cottonwood.
