Large mule deer buck harvested in southern NM. Tanned the old school way with brain matter and wood smoke. Smoked with cottonwood and cedar.
This is a very nice hide with minimal holes and a perfect shape. Soft enough to pass a size ten beading needle through but also thick enough for cutting water drum rounds. Smoked deep for a darker coloration.
