This smaller whitetail doe was harvested in southern NM. Tanned the old way with brain matter and wood smoke. Smoked with Cottonwood.
This is a smaller hide with a medium/thin thickness. Well suited for fine crafting, beading, quill work, etc. Reduced price for slightly papery section along the upper spine and back left rump from excessive scar tissue. Likely because the deer lived in an area where it ducked beneath barbed wire fencing on a regular basis.
6.5 square feet total material.
