This younger mule deer buck was harvested in west Texas. Tanned the old-school way with brain matter and wood smoke. Smoked with Cottonwood.
A few sizable holes near the front right arm — price is reduced accordingly. Despite the holes this hide is still very soft. Passes the size ten beading needle test. Great material for crafting - ideal for beading or quill work. May not be the best hide for cutting water drum heads. I consider this a small hide but being a muley buck it’s not terribly thin. Solid medium thickness.
6.5 square feet total material.
