This large mule deer buck was harvested in southern New Mexico. Tanned the old school way with brain matter and wood smoke. Smoked with cottonwood and cedar.
This is a nice thick hide, very soft and supple. There are some weak spots and holes so it is listed at a discounted price. A few good water drum rounds could be cut from the right spots but this hide may be better suited for crafting.
