This mule deer doe was harvested in southern NM. We skinned her out carefully with ears, arms, and legs. The tail was taken by the hunter. Tanned the old school way with brain matter and left un-smoked for the white coloration. Minimal holes and very soft.
As with all white, un-smoked brain tanned hides it cannot get wet or it will dry back into rawhide.
