This mule deer buck was harvested in southern New Mexico. Tanned the old school way with brain matter and wood smoke. Smoked with cottonwood and cedar.
This is a very nice hide with practically no holes, soft all over, and reasonably thick. Would be suitable for cutting water drum rounds or for fine crafting such as beads, quills, etc.
