This whitetail doe was harvested in west Texas with a low gauge rifle meaning the entrance and exit holes are very small. Tanned the old school way with brain matter and left un-smoked for the white coloration. As with all un-smoked brain tanned hides, it is liable to turn back into crusty rawhide if allowed to get wet.
This is a very soft and thin hide that is significantly larger than most of the white Navajo style hides I have tanned in the past.
