This whitetail buck was harvested with a rifle in southern New Mexico. Tanned the old school way with brain matter and wood smoke. Smoked with Cottonwood.
This is a nicely shaped thicker hide. The bottom half around the rump area would be good quality material for water drum covers. The top half of this hide has a few weak areas that would not be suitable for cutting water drum rounds.
Passes the size 10 beading needle test. 9.5 square feet total material.
