This mule deer doe was harvested in southwestern New Mexico with a rifle. Tanned the old school way with brain matter and wood smoke. Smoked with cottonwood and cedar.
This is a nice medium/thin hide. Could be suitable for water drum heads but it’s on the thinner side. Ideal for fine crafting: beading, quill work, regalia, etc. Passes beading needle test all over.
8 square feet total material.
